We are a Christian Non-Tithing church founded on the Lordship of Jesus Christ.

We all have a reason that God put us on this planet, but many of us don't really know why we are here.

Our main area of focus is to help others find their purpose and destiny or in other words, "Why they are on this planet". We do this by helping you to clearly hear God for yourself, concerning His plan for you, as opposed to hearing from God through another person. Jesus said in John 14:26 "But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you" and also we read in 1John 2:27 "But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him".

We also believe that you have no need of another teacher. Once you are clearly hearing form God, concerning your purpose and destiny, and are led by the Holy Spirit in a life of faith, you are no different from any other Christian. God is no respector of persons and neither are we. Titles and positions mean nothing to us and Credentials aren't important since all they prove is that a person has been able to learn from another man. The teaching most ministers or leaders have received is usually based on another man's revelation or their teacher's own interpretation of the Bible. Most Bible schools or Theological seminaries are great at teaching people how to run a church as a business, but they neglect to teach a person how to hear from God for themselves. Credentials and positions don't signify that you are clearly hearing from God. We believe everyone needs to clearly hear God for themselves in order to discover and fulfull their purpose and destiny or in other words, their calling.

Under the Son Ministries is simply a group of people from various backgrounds and religious experiences, who by God's grace have encountered Jesus Christ along life's highway and His power to transform our lives of darkness into the kingdom of His marvelous light.

We are all about submitting to the Lordship of Jesus over every area of our lives and ministry in order to be able to hear His voice, know Him, and have the reality of Christ in our lives. Thus the name "Under the Son".

We believe that every Christian is called for a purpose in the Kingdom of God, but few reach the destiny of their calling, as they are robbed of discovering why they were put on the earth and what they were put here to do. It is our joy to help those who are sincerely seeking God be able to hear Him for themselves and fulfill His purpose for their lives, as the Spirit of Truth leads them.

This ministry, established and sustained by God, actually began in November of 2001, with the launching of mychristiansite.com, a web site that provides free web based e-mail and web site storage to churches, ministries, and fellow believers. Soon after, in January, 2002, a strong and clear direction was given to open a home once a week for a time of prayer, praise and worship, as well as a time for fellowship.

With no preconceived plan or agenda as to what we were to do or where this was going to lead, we obeyed, remaining open to whatever the Holy Spirit wanted to do. The prayer was "Lord if this is really you, let them come". And come they did. For over two years people came and went to the basement fellowship for various reasons, but over time it was evident that God was doing something much more serious in the lives of the people that regularly attended. He began to stir up a hunger for Truth and imparted a deeper understanding of the true Christian walk. Much of what we had been seeing happening in the churches recently did not line up with what was in the bible or with the faith of the early Christians.

What God did was incredible: He completely shook our whole belief system -He tore out everything that had been taught to us by man that was not of Him - and began to teach us by His Spirit, like new babes. As Truth was imparted to us by the Holy Spirit through the written Word of God, many of the false doctrines we had come to believe were stripped away . We realized that each one of us would one day stand alone before the King of Glory, accountable for believing what we were taught by others without testing it and finding out for ourselves if it was true and even more importantly, if that truth was to be applied to our own lives.

Attendance came to an all-time low, as Truth tends to offend the carnal mind, but a core group of truth seekers continued to meet week after week, until it was confirmed that the group should look for a public building for the ministry. By June of 2004, a space in the mall was selected and Under the Son Ministries had an official public meeting place.

The ministry is submitted to the Lord Jesus and by Him alone it stands and by Him alone it falls. We can never claim to have all the answers, since all revelation is never given to one single individual or group. However, we would be in rebellion if we did not speak out what the Voice of Truth has spoken to us in order to dispel the lies within Christendom. We are not politically motivated, nor do we encourage active involvement in politics. It is our sincere prayer that the Lord establishes our gathering place by His Presence and that all those He brings into our lives will experience the freedom of the real life that Jesus alone can give.

As followers of Christ, it is our desire to not only be a proclamation of His saving grace, but more importantly for our lives to be an actual demonstration of the reality of Jesus Christ to a world that so desperately needs to see righteousness, holiness, honor, virtue and integrity restored in the body of Christ.

If Jesus Christ truly reigns in the heart of a believer, the spiritual will be evidenced in the natural. We are to be living epistles, if you will, in the 21st century. While Under the Son Ministries is not affiliated with any other church or organization, we work cooperatively with other ministries and organizations throughout North America that share the same vision.

We are an advocate for those who have been exploited, mislead, manipulated, intimidated and abused by any institution which names the name of Christ. Hence we welcome those who have incurred emotional, spiritual and financial damage at the hands of men and institutions claiming to be of God.

As part of a natural progression from assisting others in recovering from the spiritual abuse of a "religious system", we have become a watchdog organization for churches and ministries within Canada.

We maintain a national database of individuals who have been hurt by the unethical practices of ministers and ministries that claim to fall under the banner of "Christianity". This database also contains information concerning the ministry involved and the details of the abuse.
